Chris is a native of Chicago but settled in Springfield in 1999 when he started his studies at Southwest Missouri State University. He and his wife, Catherine, were married in 2005. They have four children who are all active in the family ministries at Glendale. Chris converted to Christianity in 2004 after spending years studying comparative religions. From atheist to theist to Christ follower, he pursued truth and found it in the Word of God.
In 2004 he graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in crime and society, but the Lord had other plans for his life. Chris felt called into ministry and began to lead small groups and teach Sunday school for college and career students. In 2008 he graduated from Missouri State University with a Master of Science degree in counseling and is a licensed professional counselor.
Chris desires to see parents and children work together in their homes, communities, and congregations to grow in favor and wisdom with man and God. As Jesus said to His disciples, “Love one another as I have loved you…By this all men will know that you are My disciplines, if you love one another.” John 13:34-35
