At Glendale Christian Church, our mission is simple: To Make Disciples. Easter Sunday - SO BE IT
God the Father has given all authority to God the Son. God the Son has commissioned His followers to go and make disciples of all the nations. God the Spirit has empowered believers to witness on behalf of the gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ. What will be our response to all this?
We will declare, “So be it, God.” Under God’s authority, commission, and power, we will fulfill the Father’s will, we will allow Jesus’ commission to compel us to evangelize, and we will witness in the power of the Holy Spirit. It may seem daunting. It may seem difficult. It may seem scary. But the One with all authority and power will be with us. “So be it, God.”

This Summer at GCC
The GCC Youth will be participating for the first time in Serve City: Springfield this year from May 31-June 3. Serve City unites local organizations, individuals, and churches to advance the Kingdom of God, partnering with the Big "C" Church to make a transformative difference in our community through service projects, outreach, and student ministries. Each day will feature a service project, and end with a time of worship and teaching with the other youth groups that are participating. Follow the link to learn more!
From daring escapes to impossible victories, kids will discover that the Bible is full of real-life heroes who trusted God in extraordinary ways. They’ll explore powerful stories—like Moses’ origin story, the fall of Jericho, and Gideon’s unlikely victory—and learn that they can trust God no matter what comes their way. With high-energy games, engaging lessons, and worship kids will love, this week is designed to help kids see that the greatest power is faith in a mighty God!

This year at Maranatha, the theme is “Jesus the Servant: A Study of Mark.” We will explore the book of Mark to know Jesus the Servant on a deeper level and discover what it means to serve others the way He did.
