At Glendale Christian Church, our mission is simple: To Make Disciples. Easter Sunday - SO BE IT
On the cross, Jesus declared, “It is finished.” He had done the mighty and necessary work to save us. By raising Him from the dead, God the Father declared, “So be it,” accepting the Lord’s sacrifice as payment for our sins. Through Christ’s resurrection, God’s wrath was satisfied, His justice fulfilled, and victory over sin and death was secured. Easter reminds us that what God has spoken cannot be undone. Come celebrate the risen Savior with us as we worship, reflect on His sacrifice, and rejoice in the life we have through Him. Because Jesus lives, we, too, can confidently say: So be it.
We will have a 6:30 AM Sunrise Service, and matching 8:30 & 10:45 AM Services. There will be NO Sunday School. This will also be a Family Sunday, and there will be no childcare for children ages 2 and up. We will have activity bags available at the middle entrance to the auditorium.

This Summer at GCC
The GCC Youth will be participating for the first time in Serve City: Springfield this year from May 31-June 3. Serve City unites local organizations, individuals, and churches to advance the Kingdom of God, partnering with the Big "C" Church to make a transformative difference in our community through service projects, outreach, and student ministries. Each day will feature a service project, and end with a time of worship and teaching with the other youth groups that are participating.

From daring escapes to impossible victories, kids will discover that the Bible is full of real-life heroes who trusted God in extraordinary ways. They’ll explore powerful stories—like Moses’ origin story, the fall of Jericho, and Gideon’s unlikely victory—and learn that they can trust God no matter what comes their way. With high-energy games, engaging lessons, and worship kids will love, this week is designed to help kids see that the greatest power is faith in a mighty God!

This year at Maranatha, the theme is “Jesus the Servant: A Study of Mark.” We will explore the book of Mark to know Jesus the Servant on a deeper level and discover what it means to serve others the way He did.
